Portello’s Burger is a branding project created for the Iper burger restaurant at the Portello shopping center in Milan. The work was carried out in collaboration with the branding and content marketing team, but I had the opportunity to oversee many aspects of the logo’s development. The style draws inspiration from the New York street culture of the 1980s and 1990s, as well as the pop art of Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat. A flat, bold sign merges with gestural and textured elements that vary in the brand’s repetition. These signs and graphics are applied consistently across materials, creating a sense of organized chaos.
